Frontline on PBS recently released a documentary entitled Chasing Heroin. The investigational piece covers America’s heroin crisis, ranging from personal struggles of drug dependent individuals and their families, to municipal and national efforts to combat the heroin epidemic. The documentary also explores a shift in how heroin dependence is viewed, transitioning from that of a crime, towards a public health issue.
