What is Hydrocodone?

Hydrocodone dependency is an addiction to a morphine-like antitussive (anti-cough) agent that is the active ingredient in prescription painkillers that include the trade names Anexsia®, Hycodan®, Hycomine®, Lorcet®, Lortab®, Tussionex®, Tylox®, Vicodin®, and Vicoprofen®. Medical professions prescribe this analgesic opiate to treat mild pain and reduce coughing. It is closely linked to Morphine and available in tablet or syrup form. A dose of 15mg (1/4 gr) of Hydrocodone is now considered equivalent to 10mg (1/6 gr) of Morphine.

They can include extreme irritability, strong drug cravings, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, headaches, tremors, chills, sweats, insomnia and seizures.
